What the future holds for McNeill Racing

McNeill Racing finished runner up the 2011 Formula 600 championship at Thundersport GB, But due to lack of sponsorship for 2012 Richard McNeill decides to tuck away the leathers for the duration of 2012.

The plan for 2012 was to buy a newer supersport 600 and win Thundersport's F600 Championship, but due to lack of funding we cannot commit to this.

We always come to the same problem each winter as do many other race teams and we know stepping back for 1 year noone ever comes back to the sport.

So hopefully by June we will have enough money to buy a new bike and race 5 meetings at Thundersport GB. We are 90% sure we will not be entering the same class but things change so quickly who knows...

The most sponsorship for 2011 was £550.00 and 2012 we havn't been able to deal with sponsors financially so this is our only option. We have a buyer for our 600 that finished 2nd in the championship so we are already up a few thousand.
